The Poppy Factory and Marble Hill House.
Arriving at the Home of Remembrance in Richmond upon Thames about 10.15 for coffee and cake. Afterwards there will be a 30 minute presentation and 1 hour self-guided tour. On the tour one will see how the veterans still make Royal and Regimental wreaths by hand. There will be time to explore the exhibition and get hands-on with poppy-making.


A short journey to Twickenham for Marble Hill House It is the last complete survivor of the elegant villas and gardens that bordered the Thames between Richmond and Hampton Court in the 18th century.
Inside the house, one can discover a taste of Georgian life with freshly conserved interiors and new displays that tell the story of Henrietta Howard, Marble Hill’s remarkable owner. Outside, explore over 60 acres of riverside parkland, with restored gardens, reinvigorated woods and even a nine-pin bowling alley.
