PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE WALK RESCHEDULED FROM 24 JUNE 26

Join David and Tina for the first official Striders’ outing, at Burnham Beeches on Tue 14 July 26.  Walk will be 11 Miles (about 4hrs 15 walking) around the varied landscapes of Burnham Beeches, Farnham Common, Stoke Common and the villages of Hedgerley and Fulmer. 

Undulating terrain with minimal road work, mainly earth tracks, gravel paths, and estate and forestry roads. If it rains on the days beforehand, the earth paths can become slippery.. The second half of the walk has a number of styles and plank bridges. Lots of long grass on the Commons, so if wet would suggest gaiters.

There are conveniences at the mid-way point, bring a drink and snacks as there will only be a short lunch stop. 

Meet at 09:30 at the Cafe end of the car park on Beeches Road SL2 3PS, for a 09:45 Start. parking is £3.00 for all day, cash, card, or Ringo
